Portia Munson: Her World/Her Room

Her World/Her Room features prints, video, paintings, and installations by New York artist Portia Munson, who approaches environmental and cultural themes from a feminist perspective. At the center of the exhibition is a large installation titled Pink Room, consisting of thousands of discarded pink objects. Pink Room is a visual overload of products that were created to appeal specifically to women and girls, representing mass seduction and consumption.
