Majority of Downtown Parking meter rates are $1.00 per hour. Outlying areas of Downtown are $0.50 per hour.

Other ParkingIn addition to on-street parking and the city garages, downtown has a number of both free and paid private parking lots/garages. Please be sure to check the signage as the parking policies for each lot or garage varies.
Free Shuttle | For your convenience Route 4 is a FREE shuttle service 7 days a week for rides around downtown Walnut Creek and to and from the Walnut Creek BART station. For schedules and route information click here . To download a printable version of Route 4. Click here.
There are two Bay Area Rapid Transit stations in the Walnut Creek area: the Walnut Creek station at Ygnacio Valley Road and Interstate 680, and the Pleasant Hill station at Treat Boulevard and Oak Road. 1 bus will run between 7-8:00am at 30-45 minute frequencies
2 buses will run between 8-9am at 20-30 minute frequencies
3 buses will run between 9am-7pm at the current 15 minute frequency
2 buses will run between 7-9:30pm at 20-30 minute frequencies
Last pickup from Broadway Plaza will be at 9:30pm – arriving at BART shortly thereafter |
